By road from Dar es Salaam
The road infrastructure in Saadani National Park has vastly improved these days and now that there is a bridge over the Wami river which forms the Southern boundary of the park, driving from Dar es Salaam now takes around 3.5 hours to the camp (this clearly does not account for city traffic). You reach the national park southern gate after 2 hours and then drive via Saadani village and through the park on the main track until you exit the Madete Northern gate. After about 10 minutes, you reach the camp sign posted on the right hand side.
Although the road is good these days, we still recommend that you use a 4x4 vehicle.
Transfers by road can be arranged via the Tent With A View Safaris office in Dar es Salaam on firstname.lastname@example.org
